Tutorial: On death ...

This tutorial will tell you how to "target" a door when a monster_scientist dies.

1) Have a working map to use.
2) Have a func_door in your map with a Name (targetname) of DOOR1A.
3) Put a monster_scientist in your map.
4) Open the monster_scientist's attributes (ALT + ENTER, or manually go Edit >> Properties).
5) Set "Trigger Condition" to "Death", then set "Trigger Target" to DOOR1A.
Now, when the scientist dies, the door will open.


Below will show you how to make multiple monster_scientist's, on death, target a func_door.

1) Have a working map to use.
2) Have a func_door in the map with a name (targetname) of DOOR1.
3) Put a multisource entity in your map. Give it a name (targetname) of MS1. Then set "Target" to DOOR1.
4) Put multiple monster_scientist's in your map.
5) Open Attributes, set "Trigger Condition" to "Death", then set "Trigger Target" to MS1.

Now, when the monster_scientist's die, and they ALL have to be dead, it will target the door.
