View Full Version : SvenCo-op 3.0 for Steam freezes my comp

When I'm in the SC Steam menu my comp freezes after a couple of minutes/seconds. If I'm fast enough to enter a game, though, my computer doesn't freeze. If i enter the menu while playing, my comp still freezes.
This problem does not happen to any other mods i play in Steam :wtf:
I've tried deleting the background music, reinstalling Sven, and reinstalling Steam. I also tried installing the full version of Svenco-op, and installing the sc 2.1-3.0 update.

I'm using a Radeon 9600 graphics card, 16 bit, and i've tried running it at 1024x768 and 800x600, and I'm using Windows 98.
Any ideas? :(

Upgrade to Windows XP and see if that helps. Or you can use windows update and download as many updates as you can, it *might* just help you, mainly cause 98 is crap.

Have you tried forcing the game to run in the opposite rendering mode than what youre using (if OpenGL, run in D3D, if D3D run in OpenGL, if neither works you may also want to try Software)

Uhm, im ran steam in win98, works, 98 was good, but im onto 2000, anyway, try setting the colour depth.
