What's the maximum number of point and solid entities you can have without any problems? Cuz if I want my map to turn out the way I want it to be, it'll have at least 500 point entities and 20 solid entities.

I don't know the exact numbers but its not unlimited. I think the numbers may have been on the Valve-erc but I'm not sure. I know for certain that it can be found on the Handy Vandles Almanac so check there. http://www.karljones.com/halflife/almanac.asp

It's 1000 entities. That's the limit of brush entitites and point entities combined

*whew* thanks *looks back at his collection of 457 point entities and 22 solid entities*

Change that to 479 point entities and 22 solid entities. (I decided to go a little easier on the nodes.)

nodes should be placed 256 units apart for the best effect, if you did not know.
