May I introduce myself? My name is Yaso Kuuhl, but on the servers they call me >>El Pollo Diablo<<. I am mostly using the Quartz-Model, wearing blue pants and a blue hat. My favourite weapons are the Glock and the Magnum, and I seldom use any other weapons. I am playing without crosshair and I like servers with a max. of 4 or 5 players.

*shakes hand*

Welcome to the forums then! I am MadBopp, the local weapon-freak and semi-alcoholic! *hands over beer and hockeystick*

Ok first I would like to say sorry for Madbopp. Yes you can join your own dedicated server but I wouldn't recomend it because lag will go through the roof. The best way I know of is to download a server program (like HLDS Server Toolz on PHL) to set the port from 27015 to something like 27017. That should do it.

sounds tricky... But sorry for my stupidity and ignorance!:(

you can join your own server w/o compromising the lag too much, just add -port 27015 into your target line of the shortcut

Naw dudes, you need it as port 27016, but it will lag. So I suggest joining from another computer

Whenever I try joining my own dedicated server it says I have to be validated!
