Right, so I installed sven, like everyone else. I then try to play the Op4 and Blue shift maps, but they don't appear to be in the game. It wont let me access the portal areas (for Op4 or BS, regular HL works fine) in the portal map, and if I try to start it myself, it can't find the maps. If I join a public server, it wants me to download all the maps.. Any help appreciate

You have to install the maps using the install scripts located in the game directory. Note that we have not yet released support for Opposing Force and Blue Shift; the scripts were updated but may not work on all systems.
There was also a bug on the portal map; it has been fixed, but we have not yet released an update for it.

Ah, right. So could you run me through on how to do it?

I was browsing through the files and found the support scripts, and used them both. Though they said that they can not find either of the games. Not sure if this is happening because I have Sven and both other games not on my C: drive.

Both games should be installed and you have to run them at least once. It's possible that the install scripts cannot find the directory. Verify that common/Half-Life/gearbox and common/Half-Life/bshift exist.

They are both installed, I have run both of them, and I am looking at those file directories now.

Can you check if the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\ModInstallPath exists?

Not sure where I would be looking for this, or, it just does not exist.

The value is in the Windows registry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Registry

You'll have to open it using regedit. If you don't know what that is, don't worry about it. We're going to release an update soon that should hopefully fix this.

Ah, right so I've found it, and there is no Modinstallpath

Is there a SteamPath value?

Under the steam path there is ActiveProcesses, Apps, Beta, Steam.exe and Users

I meant is there a SteamPath value in the Steam directory? If you select Steam, you should see a number of values to the right.

Yeah, it links to my C: drive

Alright, we're using that path as a base now, hopefully that will solve problems with the batch file not finding the Half-Life directory.

The thing is, Sven and Op4 and BS are on my D: drive in a different steam library folder, while steam itself is on my C:.

That's a bit of a problem. We'll look into using a better solution.

Right, so I just installed them to my C; Drive and ran the support scripts. They still say they can not find them
