How to disable idle timer? I think that's causing crash when no one in server it's changing too much map and server crashes.

Any ideas?

Don't have a map in your mapcycle that crashes?

mp_timelimit_empty is the command that is used to switch maps when no one is connected.

Well i checked map when HLDS crashes. It was crashing on

sc_another
-They_Hunger_Ep1
sc_tetris2

i deleted those from mapcycle. But it's still crashing.

But thanks for the cvar anyway i'll test and post results here.

As recon224 told earlier...

mp_timelimit_empty "0" cvar will help you.

Glad it worked. Make sure you take a look at the crash logs.

use -condebug to get all the information that you can.

I doubt the idle timer is causing a crash. It doesn't use anything that wasn't already part of the game.

What's probably happening is your maps are being cycled through much quicker, so your server was just reaching the problematic map sooner than it would with the idle timer disabled.

This happened to me too before I fixed the hostage and svencooprpg crashes by editing the BSP. Doesn't seem to be the case here since he is crashing on maps that have caused little to no problems for me (or anyone else to my knowledge).

Probably some MM/AMXX conflict if it were my guess.

It could also be the number of map changes causing the crash. I know at least with glitch-life you're guaranteed to crash after a few map changes if you don't have model safety settings turned on to reduce the amount of custom model replacements.

We identified a problem in multi_manager that could cause it to corrupt entity data and cause a crash. It happens if turretfortress is started and the map changes soon after. This might be the cause of some of the crashes.

Nice! How did you catch that one - debugger?
