View Full Version : Adding custom weapons?

So I just made a custom version of the M16 (toggleable firemode and vanilla HL grenade launcher) (request)
But I keep getting:

Can't create entity: weapon_mfm16
NULL Ent in GiveNamedItem!

When adding it outside of my nero_test.as map script.

I'd like for it to be usable on any map, so I put it in my as_Nero.as plugin (various stuff)

#include "MisfireCustom/weapon_mfm16"
and in the MapInit
RegisterMFM16();

I tried putting it in the PluginInit as well to no avail.

wat do? D:

Custom weapons/entities can't be defined in plugins (http://forums.svencoop.com/showthread.php/42940-Question-about-weapon-scripts?p=512657&viewfull=1#post512657). There is no solution other than loading your map script in every map.

Oh... That sucks D:

I guess I could write a script in mIRC that writes a map script for every map, but the server I'm on has 900+ maps. :P
