View Full Version : Game crashes when someone explodes into particles

During a game I shot a enemy with the m203 and he exploded into pieces of meat (particles) and a few milliseconds the game crashes. I continued playing in others maps and everytime than someone or something explodes in particles the game crashes.
I used procdump and uploaded the file if it can help

I don't think particles are the problem as an exploding NPC doesn't produce particles. They do produce gibs however, in which case you may find some help for this here.

Also what are those 2 links for?

I've tried all possible solutions in that post and still happening
My specs are OpenGL W7-32bit i3-3220, 4GB RAM, GT610 1366x768

It should only be calling cef_quit_message_loop if it was already shutting down.

Try this: add "-condebug +developer 1" without quotes to the game's launch parameters. When it crashes, go to common/Sven Co-op/ and open the condebug text file. It should be a text file with the date and time in its name. Paste the contents on Pastebin and link it here.

The lack of console messages means that whatever's causing it to shut down doesn't report any errors. The call stack showing CEF quitting means that it is still calling shutdown though. That's very odd.

There's not much else i can do, a programmer will have to inspect the code that makes CEF shut down and backtrack until they can find a code path that shuts the game down without any messages.
