I won't go back to 56k dialup! NOoooooo! You will have to pry it from my cold dead fingers first. ;)

After 8 years of dialup, finally got cable modem. It's well worth it. It's been better than the T3 I had at work.

BTW You can check your throughput at: http://www.dslreports.com. (DSLR Tools)

There are no other real alternatives here on basis of a flatrate, and ADSL disconnects u every 8 hours.

But I hope i-net via electric-plug will come soon :)

Hmmph. It'll be at least two weeks before I get ISDN, and apparently about 8 years until ASDL.

Send all death threats to anyone at BT, please.

@ Dudda: Sorry, my statement was not clear enough: I did not mean, that ADSL dissconnects you, but the provider does and that with all its i-net products (Modem, ISDN or ADSL).

SCHUMI HANDED AUSTRIAN WIN
Michael Schumacher has taken his first Austrian Grand Prix win after team mate Rubens Barrichello moved aside on the very last straight to hand him victory. Barrichello had been in charge all afternoon after starting from pole position, but then bowed to team orders on the final lap.

he probably would , cheating bastard .

News Just in from Ferrari International motor racing Headquarters:
In a move to cut costs and in a bid to "fully realise die drivers full'er potential" Ferrari has equipped there International racing super star Michal Shumacher with a new slower, cheaper, smaller, "Special"-er vechicle. The vechicle comes complements of the International Mini association and, despite its age and condition, Ferrari is claiming the clapped out Y reg mini to be "absolutely brilliant, zis iz die beste motor racer in die world, besser than die otver cars, very f**kinger brilliant ya?".

When questioned about the surprising move, the FIA stated that "We unterstand the, er, limits of this new vechicle and we intend to compensate for this by lowering the speed limits for the race, this will lead to an all together more 'intence' racing performance, with Shumacher in the lead all the way and our wallets bulgeing at the seams concurently.... no, wait, scrap that last bit... no, wait..."

What this means for racing we dont know, but you can be certain that Michael Shumachers brilliant "Skillz ya?" are sure to be uneffected.
