This is probably irrelevant to you with MP3 collections rather than large CD collections (like me) but it'd be interesting to see.

for me, in no particular order(I've also added the year of the album to help you track them down):

Idlewild - 100 Broken Windows (1999)

Doves - the last broadcast (2002)
The Strokes - Is this it (2001)
Foo Fighters - Colour and the Shape (1997)
Rival Schools - United by Fate (2001)
Feeder - Yesterday went too soon (1999)

Muse - Showbiz (1999)
The Verve - Urban Hymns

Most of those are awesome Albums and well worth checking out if you have the cash, might have some problems tracking some of them down outside the UK, but I assure you its worth it ;)

Well... i don't own more than 10 music CD's that weren't put together from my MP3s... but i guess they would be my favorites.... i can't remember them all but they are something like this:

Inner Circle, Both the Pokemon (tv show) sound tracks, uhm.... dammit i really can't remember, haven't used a music cd in like 2 years >.<

OK computer by radiohead . all the songs are works of art.
massive attack - mezzanine . amazing album . very dark .
all 3 dream city film club albums are good .
the last broadcast by the doves is mind blowing too .
spiritualized - ladies and gentlemen , we are floating in space .
