    BigCoopMap

It's my first map I release for SvenCoop. I have worked a long time on it and played it offen on LANs with my friends. Now I find the map good enough to release it. Have fun with it.

    home.arcor.de\7h4nd3r\SC_Bcm v1.0.zip
Copy the link into your browser and then press enter...now you can download the map

    I know it's a strang name for a map but I don't get a better idea for a name.

Please give me your opinion how do you all find the map

And sorry for my english...I'm from germany

Great, a new mapper ! I`ll test out your map and give some helpfull tips after it.

Your English is quite good btw. Aber ich spreche auch Deutsch, besser ist das wir Englisch sprechen, weil die Anderen uns auch verstehen wollen.

The link works correctly...there stands how do you must use it...sorry...but i didn't find any other webspace that i can use.

When there is a www before the link will not work...the same by ftp.

    and the space...shit on it

the link work...when you make it so how I've explained it.

copy the home.arcor.de\7h4nd3r\SC_Bcm v1.0.zip into your browser and load the page...then you can download the map.

copy the link into broswer and it will come up 'would u like too'

the map looks good for your first map. I had some lagg-issues though, but it is most likely my card (its a piece of shit). Boxes look out of scale (too tall), but monster placement was VERY nice.

I enjoyed the dancing thing though, very cool.

Hehe...THX...I'm very proud for the monster placement.
I've tried a lot that it's so good as it is. And on the dancing monsters I'm very proud

I try to make other sings there as the boxes, so it will look better...but I wait for SC 3.0 before I release the next version of my map...I wait for the minigun and the other new things.

I think the whole map is a bit blocky, maybe you put a bit more work onto your brushes.
And i think what looks like a wall should be one and not a door that slides aside and spawns some enemies...really strange.
    Overall monsterplacement is very good!

    My rating? 4/10

In the next version the text that you will see sometimes on the screen will be in english.

It's my intetion that there are hidden rooms.
I think that is more fun...and all my friends think also that way

And I will see what I can do that it will not look so blocky.

    Very fun, 7hund3r.

Certainly it is a different kind of map,
yet it is alot of fun.

There are suprises at every turn. Literally.

I like the sliding walls. They add a suprise
factor that is somewhat missing from SC.

That circular, breakable wall was a nice treat.

The video monitor showing the dance room
certainly made me work harder to actually
    find that room.
(How did you get them to dance like that?!?)

This, I think, is a chaotic, wild, manic, free-for-all
kind of map. I am sure LAN parties are a blast
    with this running.

For online play, some people might be turned off
by it... UNTIL they learn it! Then they will have
    fun too.

As mentioned above, the textures need some work.
Scaling of items (boxes, etc.) need a bit of work.

Suggestion: Maybe expand the dance area and
make it a bit nicer. Add a bar/concessions area?

I have played this map twice and still don't feel I
    have found every thing.

Good work and please continue on it!

Map looks fine, the suprise element really does the trick of the map. Good work there.

The map feels very "arcade" like. Many of the settings are running trough eachother. The moving walls make it act more like a Doom II map then a HL map, but maybe that`s the unique thing in this map.

You could do something with realism I guess. Make things look real, real lighting ect. Most doors are over-over scaled and textures are running trough eachother too.

Monster placement is really great. That`s where the map scores the most points I guess. Gameplay is good and fun to play. The end with all the zombies was kind of boring, I quit the map there because they outnumbered me there.

Quite nice, but I think realistic maps are better liked. You could check out some tutorials or note`s and posts around the mapping forums to find out how to improve your maps.

    Keep it up !

I think this is a great map as I see him as a person fairly new to mapping. I know I have been mapping for almost six months now and the only actually GOOD completed map of mine is sc_nuclear which still needs work.

Anyways I would suggest toning the doors down a bith, width wise because it just doesn't look as 'real' to half-life as other doors. The one way mirror I did enjoy and I hope you'll tell me how to do that because I am aiming to get it included in my map.

    Dance scene, supurb!

I must thank you all a lot for this great suggestion....

Sorry that I haven't yet released a new version of my map

But I have a big problem:

Everytime I start my map I get the error
    Out Of sfx.........

I know that there are to many sounds but I don't know how I can reduce them so the error never comes again.

    When someone can help me......
    PLEASE DO IT !!!!!

I have updatet my map a lot, but with this error I can't release it!

    Steam

Plays fine on steam and seems to be compatible with SV3.0 too. The sfx_t error rarely comes up in Steam at least I've never seen it.
