I just played the spawn version and I must have gone everywhere but I couldn't find the end.......where was it....plus most of the medkits in the map don't work the dci just stands still and doesn't help and how are ya supposed to get in the armoury room....the first part was definetly better than the second part...

Almost forgot.....u need to move barnacles because when you get sucked up you get stuck in things nxt to the barnacles like vents etc.

    Oh well...anyway still descent map

    found it!

The barrel. Clever hiding place, hard to see but when I saw it I knew that was it. Too bad though still didn't get to finish got struck down by the dredded SFX_T just as the grunts started firing after getting by fore mentioned part. You fixed that "bad pointer" bug though. Changing that spawn point do it? Very good map!

What about naming the map, just. Sc_another.bsp and coming in diff zip names.

    EDIT

Forget. You already did that in new version

w000t found it when playing it with my mate
This map is really good when playing it with a friend

The only prob I gotta say is the amount of times the monsters respawn in that room with the platform because me and my mate found it incredibly repetitive

Anyway cool map....like the use of friendlies a lot

This map is really good! In fact, it's been forever since I've seen a non-official map(It's probably not going to be non-official for long, though ) with this quality. It was the first serious map where I saw the gonome do the hambone dance, which is always fun. Also, shocktroopers, my favorite Half-Life monster, are abundant in this which is another plus. Great job! I look forward to your later works!

    Whew!

Damn, played it again and actually finished it without sfx_t interferance. Damn good map, and I too love those shocktroopers. Excellent enemy placement producing some excellent battles. Best map to hit the forums in a long time.

From the screenshot, i can defer that the indoor door concrete design and lightning is STUNNING! but however not much interesting about the environment to look at...

Beautiful screenshots! I'd have downloaded it, but nowadays I'm too busy to play much online. Once I saw those lights, catwalks, etc. I knew just whose style I'd be emulating next! (in case you didn't understand, that means I'm going to use those screenshots as examples to work with). Any updating for 3.0, like better friendlies, new weapons?

    Better

Just finished playing with Mario and 6th_monkey and had a lot fun. Do like this version best, not as many respawns, although the battles weren't quite as intense because of this. Maybe too intense for some though. Very good endeavor. Five out of five smilies.

Great map from what I played so far but it crashed around the part with the barnacles and gonomes. Over all it was alot of fun and it has a nice atmosphere.

I feel this map should be nominated/submitted
    for the map pack.

Are there any unresolved serious issues with this map?

A fantastic, fantastic map. I got an sfx_t bug about three quarters of the way through, but then I'm using the 3.0 beta, so thats to be expected. Other than that, stunning.

Not only does this map have fantastic architexture, lighting and texturing, it combines this with innovative use of ambience, scripting, monster placement, layout and scale to create a truly ingaging, cohesive, sensory experience. I truly enjoyed playing this for its own merits, something I have not said about a Half-Life map for a very long time indeed. Bravo.

Great map! Fantastic monster placement and arcitechture.

This map is definitely 3.0 quality.

EDIT: I told sniper about this map in IRC, and he says he's making it official

Did you kill the barney? Make sure he's dead and you should probably make sure no one is blocking the door as well.

    Two

It takes two grenades; one to kill the Barney, the other opens the door by blowing control panel. You might be able to get both with one grenade, I had to use two each time I've played, (four times so far).

Strange, every time I played, it only required one. Anyway, it's nice to see a map that requires a nice combination of brain and brawn. I was kind of sad when it was over.
