Nice map, pretty coop situation at the end, i like the architecture. Short but good.

Very nice looking map, challenging too. The two major problems were that at some points I didnt know what I was supposed to be doing (like when the door to that little ammo room had to be broken down), and overall it was too short.
the eden account makes buildings smile
The map looks good, Ill download and post comments soon after I find a server running the map
"I used to do pretty things with signature spaces. Now I'm out of ideas"
Yep, this is the best map i have played in a long time.
But, as the other guys said, it's too short.
Walking in the World of Warcraft.
Thanks for the comments. The map is short because it isn't completed. For now I'm taking a break.

Nice shot's ... test it later when I have everything back installed again
How do you get past the first area with all the spawning grunts?
Find the grenades and blow up the explosives with them.Originally Posted by Rotten Flesh
Anyways, the map is spectacular for it's size. It's really too bad that your gonna stop mapping for sc, I love your maps. I hope that you plan on mapping for SC2. :o

Very great map! Needs to be longer though and should have a storyline implanted into the map instead of having to look around or minimizing to use the walk through. Should be 'mission objectives' given to player ingame.I couldn't find the grenade in the spawn room at first.
The architecture is like, everywhere, the only reason I didn't rate it 5.0 is because the same style of architecture was used everything, like the hallways for example. They used the same one, maybe different hallways could have different architecture style, like a sci-fi futuristic kind of hallway. Map is still great!
Rating Definitions ::
0.0 to 0.9 = Horrible, map needs a lot of work!
1.0 to 1.9 = Poor mapping, the majority of the level lacks effort.
2.0 to 2.9 = Average, needs some improvements and touchup in most areas of the level.
3.0 to 3.9 = Fine map, needs improvements and touchup in some areas.
4.0 to 4.9 = Very Good! Needs a small ammount of improvement or touchups.
5.0 = Excellent, Best Map of Showcase (BMS)!

Yawners. That beginning area is too small with too many spawning grunts.
It's a good little map, nicely built, however the pipe-wrench supplied doesn't break down the store room door, or either of the vent grilles needed to finish the map - only the crowbar does that (spawnflags). I updated the SCMapDB page with a new d/l link to a fixed version which has the crowbar instead of the pipe-wrench. I also wrote a review / walk-through, linked on the same page, because I thought the map was worth it!

Sky-Warrior: Probably means pipe-wrench not available until after SC 3.0 and breakables set to "Crowbar Break Only".
Thus the mapName.cfg should not have supplied a Wrench, there is no mapName.cfg on your HDD (and your default roll out includes a "Wrench") or you used one of the cheat commands.
[Have no idea otherwise why you would have a "Wrench" but "No Crowbar"]
Edit: "Explosives Only" flag ?
But, good find, never the less at least people will now know to "use the crowbar".

I don't know about 3.0, as I've only worked with 4.8, but in this case the cfg for this map gave neither wrench nor crowbar - the wrench was in the map under the steam jet from the ruptured pipe, so no cheating was involved!
Yes, the vent grille had high damage (100,000) and was set for instant break, but had no instant break weapon specified. I guess this weapon choice feature was implemented in a later FGD and I think that if not explicitly specified, in SC4.8 the instant break weapon defaults to "1" which is crowbar (and therefore excludes wrench) so the SC4.8 updated FGD effectively broke maps which relied on a func_breakable set to instant break, with no break weapon specified and where no crowbar was available. There are 3 maps I know of in this category.
In hindsight, for exposedb1 it would have been as easy to have specified the instant break weapon type as wrench, as to have replaced the actual weapon in the map, but I didn't know about weapon choice for breakables at that time.
Map OSP3 has the identical situation, i.e. a breakable grille of 10,000,000HP (yes) set to instant break, but with no weapon specified (the default at time of making the map) and in SC4.8 this map stalls at that grille, as only the wrench is supplied.
Specifying the wrench explicitly as the instant break weapon now fixes this map for SC4.8 and you can play the fixed version on my Potato server if you like - the OSP series is long but quite good! There are other RIPENTS to remove the requirement to play all maps exclusively in sequence (so you can play each one individually; I mean, who has 3 hours straight these days?) and also to remove the SP-only start delay and the tedious scripted sequence from the start of OSP1 and to replace the game-crashing broken grunt models (I would have asked MG386 first, but all his links are dead).
[Edit] - I see that Mr. Misfire has installed the fixed version of exposedB1, but has additionally used the "show hud info" of func_breakables to make the vents display "Use pry only" (or something similar) which, personally, I think is excessive - breaking those vents is part of the map's puzzle aspect, as is the limited damage zone to the right hand side of the store room door.
