    I was bored. HL1 pics, playable level, 512x512 textures, basic room 1 light, got rid of the glass on the table so you could see...

    a bit overkill don't you think? D: hl makes the textures look way too flat.

    i did this in about 45 minutes





    blaz textures, they're very nice, easy to work with

    Well, the halflife textures are really plain. Also see http://www.svencoop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30449 , yea and just so ppl know its not a model, its a brush, I never use models, only brush work .

    Been working on three or so levels on Source, though don't think I'll get any of them done. Already posted the early screens of one of them in another thread a long time ago.

    Though here are some screens from the second map.

    i think it needs stuff blown to shit on the beaches, cars, APC's, etccccccc

    the only problem with adding 'detail' is that they tend to just be the same HL2 props over and over X[

    I think it needs some rocks on the beach, like in half-life 2 on the beach.

    looking good - but i like people that dont conform to the normal tool bars - as it is, i only have textures, and the brush/ent tool bars, the rest are disabled

    i'd throw up some screens if this computer wasn't so shit and crashed every time i used hammer. hell i'll puke up some old ones, to a secret map i'm working on.

    I test maps in non-steam versions of SC and HL, but I don't know how you could tell. It has opengl graphics and it looks the same as steam to me
