    Wow nice hud screen it looks like NS 3.2 or Hl-Rally screen. Good idea. Voice output looks better than default of Counter-Strike.

    When i found that HL:Invasion mod is open-sourced, i was able to port the drivable tank code into angelscript.
    Now, the problem is i need a correct calculation for turret angles.

    Wow @Cybermax you day that HL:Invasion source but I have played with HL:Invasion and I do not have source how did you get source? Possible did you decompile dll?

    cant tell, its a project ive been working on for 6+ years wich recently progressed, Coding is 100% Finished (i wanted another change to the code but that one was virtually impossible unless investing loads of time) the maps are a good way finished Si8ngleplayer has map 1-3-4-5-6-7-8 and if i find someone to help map9, Defense mode has about 4-5 maps if i find someone to change a few models andsomeone to beautificate some maps and create the last one id be finished in no time.

    at the same time i made a video as a Weapons Display.

    we (at misfires) actually ran similar gamemode for a while (see early dev video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfDz-x58Aro) months ago. the whole core concept is great but sadly you will most likely run into same problems that we had with PVP prediction making melee almost impossible with pings higher than 40-50

    I suggest decreasing a lot NetworkMessages to improve players latency, such as HUD Text.
    If the player lag already, it both happens as zombie or human.

    BTW, your mod is looking good. Would you mind to open-sourced it? So others can contribute, too.

    its code is already outdated as fuck tho lol (even the video is from 2017)
    those hud messages dont increase player latency at all really, if you run few tests with EU->US or US->EU youll see what i mean

    If custom weapon is a really big problem. How about using built-in weapons (such as crowbar, pipewrench, etc.) ?

    For takedamage hook, i found a way to create an almost-perfect pseudo-takedamage hook. (including inflictor, attacker, damage type, damage value)
    I will share it when it is ready to use.

    Started building this city yesterday with a few basic textures I made. Not sure if I'm going to do anyhing with it. I'm trying to see how large I can make it before the engine calls it quits. I'm trying to stick to blocks as much as possible to save on resources. So far all areas are under 800 wpoly.

    Thanks! Yeah, I'm using the 64bit versions. They're quite amazing, since the current version of the map goes through a full compile (full vis, extra rad and 8 bounce) under 30 seconds! It does, because I keep things extremely basic. Nearly everything is built in blocks of 64x64 as smallest size and I'm currently only using 20 textures in total. It's actually quite fun to try and give each building something unique within those limits.
