    I thought it about time to add a final map to sc_avp, and this time with aliens.

    Here are some screen shots of what it looks like so far.

    Also note that i have been in hammer 4 too long, and i am trying to learn 3.5 again (AUGH? )

    Nice hi-res medkit texture. Have you used a higher-detail texture for the HEV charger too? I can't tell from those screens.

    EDIT: ooh, ooh, or you could use Killer's HEV charger model

    off topic:
    this is a pretty good series, but why do you make the "levels" so damn short? all a persoan really has to do is run through each level, making some of them only 5 minutes long (or less).

    Alot of the textures I am useing have come from opposingforts/2bases2 and where made by mapcore about a year and a half ago.

    Going back to the offtopic - People have been playing these maps for ages now, so they know how to get through them in the quickest amount of time.

    The first map, and map9 are prob the longest, and map 4 the shortest - I WILL NOT BE UPDATEING ANY MAPS - avp10 is a standalone addon.

    Be warned, dont use NS textures in an SC map...

    These textures are from mapcore - and have nothing to do with NS. Please read the 2bases2 WIP thread before you start on this topic again.

    The blood was from some aliens i had killed, and i was not bothered to reload, and do a cl_notarget to get a fresh screenshot

    ...and annoying. Why not just make some large storage area where the players trigger the lights off and some dark blue emergency lights switches on, then aliens start to come from vents, floor grates, break through doors etc.
