    Secrethunt2_r

    Edit: Map has been updated to secrethunt2_r

    Finally finished it.

    For those whove not played secret hunt 1:
    -The objective of the map is to find all the secret boxes
    -There are 4 types of boxes: Easy, Medium, Hard, and 1337.
    -There are 1 1337, 2 hard, 3 mediums, and 4 easy in each area.

    Heres a list of stuff:
    -Theres a counter in the main room now, it counts up too 299, but will never pass 100.
    -The boxes by the portal represent what type of boxes remain in the area.
    -7 Areas: Jump Zone 2; Grenade Zone; Office of no Escape; Desert Maze; Cliff Zone; Sky Castle; Newbieland.
    -Sounds are played when someone finds a hard or leet secret.
    -Points are awarded for everything above easy. (Medium-1; Hard-10; 1337-100)
    -I need to mention that you do not get points for medium or hard in newbie land (For obvious reasons). This areas mainly for a laugh.
    -Some other features I refuse to mention

    Im not as satisfied with this map, i think i made the secrets too easy

    jpoli and i played the first and second with amiannoyingnow and it's probably our favourite puzzle/secret map ever.

    i love this map, although some of the secrets are frustrating. i'd said it's BOMS but i'll let other people play it before we JUMP to CONCLUSIONs

    Also proves maps dont have to have great looks to be good.

    I must say this is definetly the second best puzzle map i've ever played, right next to secrethunt1. ;]

    You'll definetly spend an hour or more finding all of it, and I doubt you'll find everything on your first time.

    I must say I sort of liked the last jump zone more, but you put most of the puzzle work in jumping zone 2. Nice job. I really liked your ideas of puzzles.

    Heh, I just played through this map with 3 other guys We got all the secrets. We used godmode and giveall though(and noclip for the mapmaker secret )
    It was pretty fun, but it probably won't have much replay value though.

    fun! as the other one, too.
    BUT! change the direction of the teleporter to the office and the sequence for the sci is too high, place it with the X onto the floor.
    the replay value is kinda high, because you cannot reach any secret easily.
    it just sucks when you play on a public server and like 6 out of 8 are rushing into the areas and leaving the newbies alone.

    great map, played it with D for like 4 hours or somehting. only complaint is how cruel that jumping puzzle was, the one with the white and black tiles, it was so hard, i ended up turning the gravity low. there should have been shortcuts to higher areas once you got so far, because you spend so much time just going through it again just to fall off.

    Played this with four or five friends. It was fun. I agree with the jumping puzzle shortcut; that got a little boring after a while.

    I loved the grenade area. And, I loved Sky Castle.

    This map was pretty fun for a while... But playing with too few players can make it take a long long time if its everyones first play...

    Some of the secrets were really hard to find and I think that one of them is impossible, the 1337 difficulty one in the grenade course, no one on my server could find it anywhere and we were searching for a long long time.

    It's nice to see variation in the mapping trend, everyone thinks they have to make walk-throughs full of monsters and puzzles, well maps like this prove that you don't need to be like everyone else.

    Yes. Good thing come in three's. Ask some of the best sven coop mappers to make some areas too!

    Bumping cause i updated the map.

    Updates
    *Few problems with textures (Arg! Forgot box again!)
    *Map ends when you find all the secrets, after 1 minute.
    *Mappers secret no longer counts towards "Secrets found"
    *Attacking my dragon will lock the mapper's room, permenently.
    *Fixed direction on office teleporter

    Updates made because i didnt feel above was worth a re-release
    *Added a new area that opens when you find 50 secrets
    *Removed scientists from newbie land (People were crowbarring it for points)
    *Moved 1337 secret in newbie land to new spot
    *Switched places of a hard and medium in newbieland
    *Made it so i can actually get in my room when some n00b presses the dragon button
    *Made the jumping zone harder (Just kidding)

    Bug that i know about: For some reason, when i compiled it all of the 0 dmg hurt triggers switched to 10 dmg hurt triggers, and they compiled as 5 dmg hurt triggers. Since my computer has been acting really strange with compiling lately (Crashing to bluescreen, then working when i removed the "_r" from the rmf) and the fact that the rmf didnt save, this will not be fixed.

    Does the map need the falling damage that is only 10? I keep dying on that one part with a long drop.

    Played this today (with Jusupov).

    Outstanding gameplay, first map I've seen like this. Nice to see unique ideas that are fun.

    I have to agree on the bad design though. Although your map is fun, it doesn't look brilliant. In the words of someone else, "too blocky".

    Your configuration seems to get overided by my server's configuration. I could use banana bomb, making the grenade zone very easy.

    It has crashed one of my servers twice now (so I've been told), one of which I was playing on at the time. It was shortly after we opened the area in the middle of the floor.

    I would like to suggest you add medication in the lobby area. It's annoying dying all the time because of low health, and having to go back to where we were before.
