    Re: post your computer pics/specs

Its been a while since I got rid of my headache which was the overheating feking A10 (Never had a CPU generate so much heat)
    I now have:
Intel Core i5-6600K (So LGA1151 Socket)
    Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 Memory Kit (So 2 x 8GB Sticks)
    Asus Z170 PRO GAMING
Corsair H100i GTX (Miscalculated required space so not installed how I planned and on second placement to get rid of vibrations)
    Corsair Obsidian 450D
Corsair CS550M (I don't work for Corsair btw)
Gainward GeForce GTX 750 Ti (I got for low power requirement)
    1 x Crucial_CT500MX200SSD6 M.2 Card (Upgrade from a Crucial M550 256GB SSD)
1 x Western Digital WD Green WD20EZRX 2TB (Left over from my last pc, keep meaning to replace as it sucks)
1 x Pioneer Blu-Ray Writer BDR-209M (Been rock solid so far and quiet)
Onboard sound (Yuk but I only use 2.0 speakers)
1 x iiyama 24 inch GB2488HSU (I know costs more than other makes but I think they are a brilliant company)
Creative Inspire T10 2.0 (Can't fit 5.1 speakers in this room and these are adequate for my needs)
    Roccat Kova
Element Gaming Beryllium Mechanical RED Switch Gaming Keyboard (Bargain at £50 from Ebuyer!)

No, fits an AT tower so with any tower plenty of room to the side
But yeah the desk is like almost 20 years old. If new desks didn't have little tiny keyboard trays would have probably replaced it by now.

I'll keep you in mind. My current one is pretty fragile and has random drill holes on the top. :<

So I don't trip over the tower case (again) and due to me thinking you get more dust or f its carpet more carpet fibres (I always tend to try and get cases which have wider air in areas so the fans can be at a slower speed)

    Does it run Farcry 3?

btw why is everyone more worried about the desk, I'm more worried how untidy the inside of the case looked (Because I had the radiator originally at the bottom of the case it was the perfect thing to hide cables behind)

I am still waiting on my server cabinet to arrive so I can get rid of my old server rack. It'll help tidy up the corner and I can finally mount my servers in there.

Next item on my wish list would be a 970GTx - i love my 670GTx, but i have got some VERY sticky dust on the fan blades.

If you can get the fan out, try using a paper towel (kitchen paper) or cotton bud dampened with white spirit on that sticky shit. Rub it gently, give it a few seconds to loosen up, then rub it again. Usually the fan is made of some hard thermosetting polymer which usually won't be adversely affected by the spirit, especially as it completely evaporates within a few minutes. White spirit is great for dissolving many oily/greasy/sticky marks and is more plastic friendly than harsh solvents like acetone, and it does a better job than alcohol on stubborn sticky stuff.

It's also great for dissolving old kitchen grease which has polymerized into that rubbery plastic shit, the nasty yellow stuff that detergent won't even touch.

    MB: MSI MS-7309
    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @ 2.6GHz
    RAM: 3GB DDR2
    HDD: 500GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 1GB

Still rocking with my crappy 2008 build. The only decent part I guess is my new Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO that I recently got to cool it down as the stock fan was a pos.
