    Start problem

I've a problem, I really don't know what to do because it's the first time I do somethig like this.
I'm italian, so I have the italian version of the game (original), after 2 hours searching the last version of the game (ihl1110.exe i think), I've finally installed sven coop, but when i click on quick start or internet game the game says that I have a courropt or old version of the game.
    What should i do?

(err.. sorry for my bad english >_>)

Sounds like you don't have Steam. You will need Steam in order to update Half-Life to the latest version. After that SC 3.0 should work.

There are also ''non-Steamish'' way's to get this to work but I haven't tried those. Those are done by people who feel disappointed to Steam and wish to return to the WON - days.

But from my point of view, the safest bet would be to use Steam.

Open Steam, go to Games on the top left corner and press ''Activate a product on Steam''. There you insert your Half-Life cdkey. After that you should get Half-Life into your games list plus Counterstrike.

As you are italian, you can change the language to italian on File -- Settings -- Interface -- Italiano

You might need to check this then if you are sure that you have a legally acquired copy of Half-Life and you cannot register the cdkey.

If all else fails, you can try asking help from the forums :

Give it a try; you have nothing to lose.

Although you should continue to migrate to Steam, WON2 is an option. According to the Wikipedia page for WON2, Sven Co-op v3.0 is supported by WON2.

First of all you have to have Sven Co-op v3.0 with the WON configuration installed.

Second, launch into Sven Co-op using the WON base.

    Third, check the server list.

Chances are that there isn't a single server for Sven Co-op on WON2.

By "WON base" I'm simply distinguishing between a Steam client and a WON client.
