    Kyper Kuutio: Lab X-26 and Incidents Phobos

    THIS IS A PUZZLEMAP

    fuck atleast i got something finished, this is a puzzle map which experiments on transferring a cube and a monster through the whole map, may looks like Psychic agog but its entirely different.

    MOTD TEXT TELLS EVERYTHING:

    Betatest: Keen/Cryokeen, Lemonsoda, Poka, Sence, Streamfox, cSMG, Turrican, Cocyx The Skeleton, Rodifan, Voice of The Borg Collective

    (NOTE: later realized the dirty texes dont really fit most places overall so detailtexes are not must in this map)
    MAKE SURE YOU HAVE R_DETAILTEXTURES 1 AND R_DETAILTEXTURESSUPPORTED 1 ON CONSOLE.
    DETAILTEXES DONT WORK IN D3D, too bad

    THIS MAP REQUIRES ATLEAST 2 PLAYERS



    HINTS:


    -Hold your USE key to to lift the cube, this is a new but rarely noticed 4.0 addition which allows you to lift the box up and also throw it.

    -Cube and Kyper Assistant has to be escorted within all the time when moving forward to new places,
    dont forget them.

    -When you have to use your mace to break something special, the mace is your crowbar

    -Flash the cube to everything which has a black & white checkers same as the cube has

    -You may find the Kypercrossbow, it can kill mostly anything with one shot

    -Other highly deadly weapon is the Experimental Mininuke, use it with caution or you easily kill yourself

    POSSIBLE ISSUES


    -When throwing the cube on the Kyper assistants head it will mosty likely stuck so prevent it, though theres ways to fix it

    -The hangar area in Part 3 will have small fps drop because of so much barneys and blood


    Story


    2040

    Phobos, Lab X-26 D

    Your special scientist team has received information of some nuklear accident happening in main Deimos station.
    Kypervortigaunts analyzed the base and there was portal opened to Lab X-26 Phobos, X-26 has then evacuated after
    huge battle with incoming mysterious zombifications and psi-emissioned security staff.

    There is only one weapon to shut down the malfunctioned portal system: The Kyperior Cube.
    It is a indestructible, harshly black and white, big but lightweight mechanic cube which can open security locked doors,
    with its color symbol their locks. It can also take control of the whole main Phobos and Deimos base,
    when input in portal security locks. Also your later gonna have a Kyper Assistant helping your mission, "Kyper Assistant"
    is a Biogenetic android species which mostly live in Phobos and Deimos labs and are originated from Xen.
    They can telepathically open doors and activate systems where the Cube doesnt work.

    Your team is armed with high-class heavyweaponry and sent to Lab X-26.

    Awesome map with its own unique feel and storyline. Fantastic weapon models and music. Puzzles might require some brainwork from a mass of players, and the cube might be hard to handle at first, but the puzzles are well made and interesting. It also has the MININUKE, which in my opinion is the best custom weapon ever made in Sven Co-op!

    Great map was really fun testing. I am a bit worried less seasoned players won't understand that you need to pick up the box at times and where to put it, but hopefully most people will be able to figure it out. Very good map!

    Wow great job, we had a ball playing it, funky in a weird portal-sven kinda way! I was hoping for a funny song at the end. Loved the weapons!!

    Fun map to play. I love the visuals and audio that make your maps look and feel unique from the rest.

    Original. Only could play the first map though. Got this on the second one:

    Fatal Error: Mod_NumForName: models/rngweapons/wee/w_microgun.mdl not found

    In fact, that folder "wee" does not exist. Did you forget to add it to the pack?

    i dont understand that glitch, its fine in the res file and model replacement. id have to upload a fix bsp along with updated rar

    Nice textures, details. Good gameplay, I love it. It's is awesome, this is a good action-puzzle map. Nuke Launcher is mah favourite!

    Just got done playing through. I liked how the map lets you keep killing the spawns until you're ready to move on. Sweet reskins, intuitive and good hints in the parts where you wonder what to do... It would be truly difficult in that last part without XP mod and buffs. Even with XP mod two players can spend a good chunk adventuring through.

    The map is fucking great fun; It's on HiddenHQ now but enabled for play by admins only when people who can appreciate the co-op part are on. Hopefully more feedback sometime soon... but great work overall as usual

    the last part shoudlnt be that hard if you keep using the MININUKE, example in walls. not at close though

    Like I said, I loved it, wanted more. We did 2 people and had no problems with the end.

    In fact I think that maybe lowering the assistants health so you have to keep him alive to continue would add a new twist to the game. If he dies, you have to go back to spawn
    and retrieve a new one, then you can spawn some aliens on the way to make it more difficult.

    well maby, but id feel like to make whole new map instead. not as complicatically made as this though for having something like that

    I loved this map. The concept of using the box and the kyper assistant to progress through the map was an interesting, original idea. I loved the strange surreal style of the map, and the gameplay was very well executed. The custom models, music, and textures were just plain awesome. Unfortunately I can't help but feel that the maps are terribly unpolished. It often feels like you just threw a lot of stuff together in a hurry. The text messages were usually random gibberish, and the brushwork and texturing was pretty lousy throughout, although I enjoyed the general choice of style for the maps. However, the fact that you made all of the music and models yourself more than makes up for the general lack of polish.

    I could definitely go along with a BOMS for this one, but I'll leave that to JPolito.

    Just played the maps with Nih and Trempler. It was quite glorious. This series has just about everything, from an immensity of custom content to an entirely unique style of gameplay. All of it fits perfectly together and plays fantastically. However, everything that Nih has just said I agree with entirely. It does seem a bit unpolished in some areas, specifically the text messages which were generally jumbled and confusing to understand (I know that's typically your style, but sometimes we just can't understand you ).

    If you were to release a slightly more polished version than the current one, I wouldn't hesitate to BOMS it.

    But plz fix the Skill files :O add more ammo to the players, they should start with full ammo ...

    i thought they should work and give full ammunition already. unless the 9mm still dont. also making map like this causes hell of stress and no wonder if everything is in CAPS or architecture and stuff is so random

    yyyylol, for what i dont understand whats the issue where the map has to be "polished", its as polished as it is, its in far obscure scifi future which is always better theme than present. some lazy parts at places but hell every map has them, not a good excuse. also consider it as most different map for long time, isnt that a boms effort already? havnt seen others complaining or something. map is not for like everyone. talking about the map myself unghfhfhfh and yes thank you otherwise
