Tried playing on one of snarkcafe's servers last night and I kept appearing as attached to some other player... like I was in some sort of spectator mode. Not sure what was going on, but all seems okay today - better than okay, actually, it's awesome!

It looks like my svencoop freezes too. I got 2 freezes now. OP4 works without problems, and Jumpers also seemed to work fine.
But so far the game froze in intruder and Polar Rescue at no specific point. At first you can play normally and then all of a sudden it freezes.![]()

try to set it in autoexec or listenserver.cfg or somethintg
If you're wanting to enable it for a specific map where it's not intended, you'll need to add "mp_npckill 1" to that map's CFG file (in the maps folder). Keep in mind that this may cause some maps to become unwinnable if necessary NPCs die, or whatever.

The shockroach mechanic is really weird....
First, it acts like a minigun pickup
second, it seems to overheat and explode randomly no matter how many bolts you use
third, the player world anim looks like the person is holding the thing like a submachinegun
but excellent work nevertheless
It starts to overload at low ammo, and explodes when the ammo reaches 0 (not random). I'm not sure about the player anim, haven't checked it in OpFor recently. It seems to look fairly reasonable, though... I mean, the way it's intended to be held is not exactly obvious. Edit: Shocktroopers seem to hold them in about the same way.

This is the best version I've ever been around for. It's stable and has more improvements and tweaks than I expected... and I can't believe how much hearing other people's footsteps adds to the experience! I can't wait to start playing with all the new mapping features (targeting players should be fun).

The MP5, SAW, and M16 = feel all about the same. I only feel an extremely slight difference with the SAW, which is that it is more inaccurate and has a higher spread... better for taking care of bigger enemies like the big momma and those 4 legged electrobiotoxic creatures that gib with electricity and spew toxins when they die. The M16 is actually really annoying because of its burst-fire, so I never use that (it barely does any damage); MP5 sounds really weak.
Shotgun, deagal, and the 9mmhandgun have really developed! Awesome job on these.
My laptop likes D3D better than it does OGL. On OGL, using flashlight can cause a massive framerate drop. And in situations when there are a handful of monsters waiting for me (already spawned), super massive framerate drop is encountered.
In D3D, a lot of the guns do not have muzzle sprites. I know that all of the weapons under slot#2 have muzzles though.

how dare you to similarize SAW with mp5, with saw you got 200 5.56 mm bullets of non-stop bangbangbang. mp5 you have to reload all the fucking time, actually much sooner than with uzi or m16
The SAW from 3.0 (which was mostly weapon+sound replacements, yes?) sounded a lot more powerful and felt like it had the same accuracy as hgrunt's using SAW. The "pinging" shooting sound made it seem like a toy, but it's Half-life. The realistic sound in 4.5 makes it sound all powerful, but it really doesn't feel that way (and the sound.. it's just way too realistic).
Needs a little more cartoony/Half-life/unrealistic/"immature" sounds.
