    Great job with the update guys, having a blast playing it, but I've got to ask, what happened to They Hunger Episode 2 coop?

    It sounded like it was coming out with this version, but unless I'm totally missing something, I don't see it in here. So yeah, just curious as to what it's status is now.

    Quick question:

    Do the new weapons add more player model animations to the models, or do they just use existing animations?

    same animations. nothing has changed in that regard.

    Not included due to agreements with PC Gamer (who own TH). Planned for release in 4.6.

    Lol? You mean single player single player? Or walkthrough type maps to be played with more people. If just single player you can try porting some half-life 1 mods directly into your sven coop directory, use extreme caution though some might completely overright dll files, models etc and ruin your install.

    Because the Source engine as of Left4Dead is way better than GoldSource's netcode, allowing even 1500ms+ latency people like me to move around perfectly fine while still suffering a 1500ms+ delay in time. In Sven Co-op, it is literally impossible for me to even move (WASD, arrow keys) unless I turn on fps_modem, which still doesn't entirely solve the problem because I frequently get those red error messages about possibly losing connection to server (in which all entities visible on screen temporarily vanish).

    I tried Left4Dead on satellite a couple years ago, and I had no problems playing except for the fact that my latency was bad and every once in a while there would only be a very minor but split second "pulling backward" on my movement (it wasn't enough to really be a problem).

    EDIT: In summary, you literally cannot play GoldSource mods and games on a high latency connection, whereas on the latest Source engine builds (as of L4D, because I haven't tested earlier) you at least have a fighting chance to potentially hit one of a million zombies coming at you, and can keep up with your squad mates all the way to the end of the map.

    I Can attest to this. Anything above about 400 ping and goldsorce goes from playable to uncontrolable nightmare.

    ^ I also concur. 400ms is about your limit really, though you should try for 150ms or lower to be very happy.

    For some reason I crash every time after I load the map "Jumpers", does anyone know the cause of this?

    I don't think that's the case since when I open the application manager it says sven coop is not responding.

    That can happen while an application is busy doing something. It quite likely is a crash, it's just worth waiting a couple of minutes to make sure.

    In SC 4.5 much problems fixed (very good), but it got very much new problems like uzis unstopable shooting, fast reloading of uzis wasn't fixed, new maps with unknown crashes (like Jumper) and, of course, new crappy limit -num_edicts 4096, which can't work in 47th hl protocol and much ppl can't or don't want to use it.
    So, not very great upgrade, but playable for some ppl...
