    Quarter [Defend Gamemode]

    It's been a while since I've been here or made anything related to SC, so here is something new. Actuallly, it's something old. I made this map back in 2005 for the new gamemodes but the entities necessary to make it function were never implented in the code. So after 7 years of waiting, I decided to find a work-around and release it. I have also completely retextured it and added lots of details and effects.

    You'll have to hold back the invading military force in 4 different areas. Each area has an objective the enemy wants to destroy. If it's destroyed, you'll have to fall back. They spawn in 3 waves, with a bossmonster each. Defeat all 3 bosses and you win the map. Lose all 4 objectives and you lose the game.

    The map has different difficulty levels:
    Easy - recommended for 3 players
    Medium - recommended for 5 players
    Hard - recommended for 7 players

    Note: Because of the lack of necessary code, the enemies sometimes do not attack their objective or simply get stuck. You'll have to kill them all to win anyway, so if they're not coming your way, go find them.

    Yes - do like loseable maps.
    Will give it play as soon as I can. Do you know if it up on any public/votemap servers yet ?

    Any chance of an IP address ?
    I could not find a Raspberry, Puchi or nacl-h2o on my Server List (Which seems pretty small today, so perhaps it is not updating correctly.)

    Tried and was getting (but then restarted SC/HL and gave me the actual IP address/connection.) Also as per 1st post could not see you on my list of available servers.

    Played on Puchi Server (Thks Puchi for putting it up).

    Game play fast.
    Layout was easy to remember.
    Objectives straight forward.

    Not sure how many waves, I defended against before losing. (saw Shocktrooper, was he a Boss ?)

    Thought I had a chance when defending "the train" as, could repair turrent and then shoot back but eventually Grunt, grenaded area, killed me and security_turrent (75 HP < 1 Grenade ?) as same time.

    Like that you had to defend against two possible enemy routes in to each objective. (As promotes natural Coop Team Play, if enough players have joined.)

    Will keep an eye out for it and try and play with few more people (or >1).

    There are 3 waves. First one is human grunts with a HW guy boss. Then the assassins come with the kung-fu assassin as boss. Last wave are the robogrunts and their leader is a M16+GL robot.

    The aliens you encounter are random. There's a 25% change attack in each area that a group of aliens teleports in.

    In my playtest we mostly held out the longest in area 2 with the computer. The restock is closeby and there are short corners and lots of cover.

    Played with Maiten on ImperiumSC (IP: 190.111.224.30:27018 ) with a total of 7-8 people.

    Late join so not sure of difficulty level. Lots of fun. Defended sucessfully.

    Noticed texture on Door (yard / start area ) partly visible when door opens & can be seen through wall, otherwise all clean. (Given gameplay was still fast and did not have time to "browse" map.)

    I have played this map in Hard Mode in the first time. xD.
    Well, my team like this kind of defend map and we just fail in 1st defend. ( 9 player )

    Great map,but is it possible to add some more hp to the turret in the second zone?
