Well here's my new map called quad. It is some jumping and skill map designed for no more than 2 players.

EDIT: Maiten made a cool score board and scoring system for the map. Now it scores you according to your performance on each puzzles.
This also means Final version released.

The map is quite heavy. I suggest making the sounds ogg or mp3. I was able to make it 18 MiB smaller by converting some of the sounds.

Just looking at the map textures and design it gives a Portal-like feel to it, but it looks so nice and challenging can't wait to play it!

Fun map, very creative puzzles. A shame it only really works with 2 players. We had to cheat on the last 2 puzzles due to the difficulty.

This level is fantastic. The puzzles were really well-made and fun to work through, and as a jumping puzzle I feel like even new players would have no trouble figuring out what to do. I liked the Portal-esque style as well.

Overall excellent work. Congrats on your first best-of-map-showcase reward.

Actually, it started as a 3 players puzzle map but was getting hard to figure out stuffs, so I switched to 2 players. After that was more easy to come up with ideas. Also cheats are bad hurr! Last two puzzle needs good timing and co-op works. Well whole map needs co-op lawl, those ones just need more.

@StreamFox, how do you make nice texture like Portal 1 / 2 ^^

Have your map best fun.
But you can put same like Portal mode?
If you want to put same crates and tunnets ( look like Portal turrets ) xD

I altered some existing textures, that's how I made those ones. I could put some crates, but I already made plenty of maps involved a cube. I wouldn't put any hostile unit in the map either. This map is a puzzle skill map without enemies.

The score entity system of this map is a good example of good usage of custom keyvalues ,trigger_load,trigger_save,trigger_condition,trigger_changev alue and trigger_copyvalue

try this and beat the score 61200 (Streamfox,Maiten,Kirby score XD)
