    Interesting, reminds me of the old Mario maps which were pretty cool too. Might try these out if I have time.

    I keep crashing when I try to run the map. I get to "Parsing game info" and then freeze.

    Only thing i missed is new sounds for the enemies and weapons... and maybe a outro or so ? after such a long bossfight :P

    Custom weapon sounds used to work for 3.0. What happend to it?


    Anyway, awesome map Nice bits of action and puzzle and overall very enjoyable. What I would like to see is even more custom content. There is still a great some plain HL stuff in there like textures and monster models, which you could replace for megaman content. Also, if you can get your hands on it, find/make megaman player models, which can be forced on players.

    (error folder /svencoop_french)

    are you trying to run this on a server with plugins?
    I got that with the hl/opfor portal map at one point, when i tried to run it on the test server with metamod & a few amxx plugins. i fixed this by reducing the entity count of the map, as it was at around 430. about 400 is fine.
    hence question to uliboh: what's the solid entity count of the map?

    other than that: looks good.

    Yea that was the problem, I was running metamod and RCBot.

    These maps were fun. I liked the music and the final boss was awesome. Some enemies had a bit too much health though imo.

    Very nice map. The Mega Man textures fit the game better than I thought they would. The enemies have custom Mega Man models and they often replaced a good selection of enemies that fit the Mega Man world. There was one enemy that did not have a custom model. The second boss I believe. It was quite surprising that an important NPC such as a boss did not have it's own model. But I assume uliboh just forgot to apply a model to it. All areas of the map look good and gave me a nostalgic feeling, even though it's in 3D now. Each map has 3 music tracks that you can choose between, all from the Mega Man games if I'm not mistaken. No bad tunes either, two of my favorites are in here.
    The puzzle areas are very well done and I had a blast playing them. I wouldn't mind having more of those and having their difficulty increased a bit.
    I disliked most of the enemy battles in this map. They had way too much HP and often you were pinned down by a group of them with no way to go around. The worst part is just before the final boss. I spent a lot of time trying to shoot enemies at long distance with the mp5 and a shotgun. New waves of high health enemies kept coming and they became harder and harder to kill. Luckily there were some other platforms to jump to so all hope was not lost.

    The weapons you recieve is an MP5, a shotgun and a hivehand. All which have custom models to fit the Mega Man theme. Uliboh usually puts secret weapons in his/her maps and I noticed ammo in the map for weapons I didn't have, so it's quite possible that there are some secret weapons hidden around the maps.

    Now, the final boss. Even though most enemies were a pain in the ass the final boss made it all worth it. This is the most unique and fun boss battle I have ever had the pleasure to experience in SC. I don't wanna spoil anything about it but I can say that you wont be disappointed (unless your a negative jerk). It was the perfect boss for a map like this.

    Go play this god damnit!

    Final boss: 10/10!
    Rest of map 6/10.

    Nice map. The layout was very well thought out and textures fit the architecture nicely. The last battle was fun and scripted well. Can't really comment whether the enemies were balanced for good gameplay since I blasted this alone with godmode just because it looked so awesome in the screenshots Gotta give it a try with a few friends in the near future.

    I can and will be running a server with this map (and some others) in about 15 hours from this post. Hopefully I can get a full-time new maps server up in a few weeks.

    Just played it; thought the map was fun, had quite a hoot playing it with some friends. I did think the jumping puzzle stuff got old real fast, and the map probably could have used some more health.

    All in all, it was a great map. The final boss fight was awesome!


    Edit: I'm not sure if it's possible to do this in SC 4.5, but consider making the "Roll Crate" friendly if you can. I can imagine players shooting at it due to it showing up as hostile on the player's hud.
