    Changelog - Poke646 / Poke646: Vendetta Co-op
    Version 1.2b


    General:
    • Fixed players being able to block the elevator on the lobby map


    Poke646:
    • Fixed even more crashes related to models
    • Fixed players being able to break the glass to the xen exhibit on po_c0m3



    This should fix everything on the server-side. If anyone runs into anymore issues with their dedicated servers crashing, please let me know.

    If I am loading poke646 maps and I don't get suit and weapon. I think you forget to write angelscript if somebody connects and joins to server without suit and weapon it is failed.... Thanks!

    There's no need to use a custom_precache for player models as I'm pretty sure those are handled differently from other models (like from item_generic etc). While you can add files into a custom_precache, or even do it with AS, I feel like RES files are still superior because its way easier to modify them in large quantities.

    As for the cfg files in the res.. didn't know about that, but it's not really such a huge deal is it? If I make another update for this I'll remove it though.

    The rest of the messages are just warnings for missing files. Some of those files aren't used by the maps in question which is why a warning is printed. Most of them are global sound replacements, and I didn't feel like checking each BSP to see if it really uses that custom door/button sound or not. Hence I just added all of those GSR sounds to every res file. This is mainly for dedicated servers so that clients get the sounds no matter what map they play on.
    The XS (Xen Squasher) sounds/models etc were left untouched so that if I ever add the XS script in, I won't have to go into each map and re-add it manually.

    You can play it on Zorbos' Servers when you live in the US or on ZebraHut when you live in Europe.
    But I guess people just want their SCXPM along with it.

    It would be nice to be able to download either from this website and or scmapdb. I am not sure about the other places you linked from.

    To be honest I had not checked since the last time which was two weeks ago before I had posted this last night. However it still is not on scmapdb after checking right now.

    To be perfectly clear, I am talking about there is no way to actually download from this and the scmapdb websites themselves. There are only links that redirect to other sites.

    Google Drive/Mega let you download with great speeds without any ad blowing up all over, no point in not using those to dl the files.

    I never had any problems downloading from this site or scmapdb even with rather large map packs. So why would they not be included in the link sections like the majority of maps?

    Maximal file size for SCMapDB is 100mb, Poke646/Vendetta is over that limit.
    Granted it could be split into 2 parts, but that would mean 2 uploads, 2 downloads, that add to the monthly bandwith usage of the SCMapDB server, stuff that costs money, so it's actually pretty nice to use other hosts to save on bandwith on the main page.

    I suppose that make sense, but since I never use anything other then those two sites, minus snark cafe, I have not downloaded it. No worries though. Thank you for your explanation.

    "ERROR: Cannot instantiate entity: Entity 'model_generic' does not exist!"
    I forgot to change a model_generic (Poke's prop entity) on this map into an item_generic (Sven's prop entity). I can fix that pretty easily if I get time to update this again. Added to the notes

    The Swing, SwingAgain, and EjectShell errors are likely just erroneous coding on my part, although I don't ever remember seeing those messages when I tested them myself (I usually play with developer 1). Could be a new issue introduced in one of the latest patches to the game. Still, more likely than not to be my fault. I'll look into it.

    As I explained in the Known Issues portion (see first post), I didn't get around to adding the xs (Xen Squasher) or the Robocop. The ammo is coded but I removed it from the download as it is never used because it's parent weapon was never added. The only reason they still exist in the maps is so that if I get around to adding in the scripts, they'll work because the entities are already placed. Otherwise I'd have to remember the original positions of all of the xen squashers and xencandy so that I could ripent them back in after I added the scripts. Honestly, having some console warnings floating about is a much better compromise than having to keep track of that. Either way, this is why you're seeing errors related to those entities.

    Eh info_textlights need for texture lights. If you remove it than you play dark. You cannot see room.

    Let me remind you, Zorbos does this in his free, spare time of which there isn't much.
    If you are so concerned that your console spews out a few more lines, go ahead, convert the entire thing yourself and make it 'perfect' just how you want it.
