I kinda fixed your MP5 using QuakerCraft's arm/hand rig, fixed fov and some really minor fixing on the animations.

I've been doing a LD pack myself too by hunting down a LOT of HD models in the svencoop and svencoop_downloads folders.

Sorry for bump but I noticed the LMG has a bad issue with having the left arm being stretched
And the SMGs models right sleeve is cought on the clip

DZerk, most of those issues have to do with high FOV, and are like that on the original models, since they weren't meant to be used with FOV in mind, so there's not much I can do unless I'd want to mess around with the animations.

Re: Working on a LD pack of my own...

    Some issues:

    • The grapple weapon tongue attachment is broken. It shoots from the player's crotch instead of the barnacle.
    • The hwgrunt minigun doesn't spin up or spin down.
    • The muzzle flash on p_saw is in the wrong place.
    • The body guard often holds pistols and stuff like a shotgun.

I'm gonna try fixing this stuff myself but I'm a shit modeller.

What do you mean the bodygroups are broken? I checked multiple times and they work fine for me.
RPG animations also look fine to me as well.
Everything else I agree with though, I've been meaning to fix them for quite a while, let me know how that goes.

They aren't, my mistake. I'm doing model replacement in a plugin and that broke the bodygroups.

Re: Working on a LD pack of my own...

It turns out the default bodyguard also has broken anims, so I'm ignoring that issue for now.

Attached are fixes for hwgrunts, p_saw, and v_bgrap. Note that the hwgrunt is the Sven 3.0 version, not the 2.0f one (cuz muh nostalgia). 3.0 versions of the minigun are also included because of that. bgman is an exact copy of the current default model, which still uses 3.0 weapon models (only difference between it and the LD version is the minigun).

No one has made an LD Tor yet, so I'm attaching my version of it (thanks to the303 for blender/lighting tips). It was cut down to 1200 polies from 3200. The skin and armor textures were also adjusted to match the LD alien grunts.

Edit: Updated to include alien slave colors and the original blue color.

Looks great, my suggestion would to base it off more on the Alien Slaves though, and if I could have your permission to, maybe add it to the pack?

If you mean to change the colors to match the alien slaves then that's easy enough to do (updated attachment), but I'm not skilled enough to make major changes to the textures/models. Also yes, it'd be great to have this in the pack.

I have added them to the pack! Also, if it isn't too much to ask could you make an LD version of the tormaster model in sc_psyko?

I tried, but there are some problems with the UV mapping. I noticed the colored alien slaves were too dark compared to the originals, so those were updated too.

I want to make people aware of these:

    https://www.moddb.com/members/leonelc/addons

The restored npcs have interesting textures and other fixes that may be useful for your pack. I believe the guy used day one textures and improved upon. I'd say contact the author if you like something.
