    JustZombies Series

    Hello Sven Co-op Board:
    this is the first time I offically contribute anything to this awesome Mod an Community.
    JustZombies is a Map Series I have been occasionally working on in my spare since 2007.
    I have been mapping for Goldsource for a long time without releasing anything publicly.
    Please don't expect too much from these Maps.

    Description:
    This is a series of maps including different genres. During this Series the Players will fight zombie hordes, discover a hidden lab, explore a spooky mansion and transform into aliens.

    Maps should be played in this order:
    • JustZombies
    • JustMilitary
    • JustMansion
    • JustIslave



    Info:
    • Custom models (weapons / enemies)
    • 4 different maps
    • 2 Players are required to complete these maps.
    • Recommended Players: 2-6 (2 Players are required to complete these maps)
    • Objectives and Hints are included in the _motd.txt

    Version 5.02:
    • added more lights to some darker areas

    I already uploaded a new Version with some bugfixes on both mirrors.

    First of all: great maps.

    For v 5.02:
    There is the door which has to be actived with a slider button in the control room, this activates the cutscene and opens the door.
    It should open the door forever and the button should disable itself or have a much higher wait time, players can push the button endlessly to trigger the cutsecene every time.

    Edit: You should also use trigger_changelevel instead of game_end with nextmap in the maps cfgs.

    Thank you for your kind words and feedback.
    I'm currently working on a survival variant of all 4 maps and will definately add a trigger_changelevel.

    Version 5.04:
    added playermodel "justislave"
    Did you forget to include that, because I can't find it ;o

    Also I noticed some minor stuff:
    - Dunno the map (probably the first) but somewhere there is a button which opens a door with a cutscene, theres probably no wait on the button so one player can ruin the game by constantly triggering the cutscene
    - On JustIslave (besides the missing player model) near the end you spawn in water tanks, we're played through with 32 people and with that much all players get stuck, constantly drowning and the tanks never open after !killallplalyers they opened.

    Edit:
    - In the map cfg when specyfing map_script you don't have to append the .as file extension
    - Also in the map cfg there is a nextmap JustMansion (note the capital letters) - capitalization should be the same as the actual map files otherwise fastdl breaks and thet map is downloaded slowly (this is also valid for the "map" parameter in trigger_changelevel)
    - Speaking about capitalization its the best to have all maps and resource files in lowercase as its the easiest for fastdl and server admins.

    After 2 playthroughs I have to say those are really excellent quality maps, keep up the great work!

    These maps are really cool. Lots of good ideas, details, and custom content.
