    Question can't compile the map! doesn't work

    hi i follow your tutorial to set up hammer and i do a test map and doesn't work! looks like the compiler tool doesn't know what to do

    Unknown option "SDK\mapping\compilers\SC-CSG_x64.exe"
    It's because there are spaces in the path name to the compiler executable. You need to enclose them in "quotes" like "D:\STEAM\steamapps\common\Sven Co-op SDK\mapping\compilers\SC-CSG_x64.exe".

    Hm some quotes are doubling up there... Are you using Hammer to compile?

    You need to put the quotes in the compile/run settings mind, not the build programs tab in the program options. I don't use Hammer to compile my maps, but mine looks like this:

    Also note:
    * Could not execute the command:

    * Windows gave the error message:
    "Acceso denegado."
    This is because "firstmap" does not have a file extension, so it does not exist.
    I would guess that you want to copy "firstmap.bsp" but am not 100% sure because it looks like you are compiling from within "D:\STEAM\steamapps\common\Sven Co-op\svencoop_addon\maps\" and then calling the compile programs [SC-CSG, SC-BSP, SC-RAD and SC-VIS] from this directory [folder]. If you are doing that, then you don't need to copy the .bsp because it will be made [built] in the correct location.

    PS: And you would also end up copying it to the same place [folder, directory] ?

    Personally I use a Perl script but it requires quite a specific and consistent file system layout to work.

    You could try something like Nem's Batch Compiler though I'm not sure how compatible it is with our special compiler options.

    I've moved the compiler EXE's into a less complicated folder structure without spaces like 'C:\Tools'. Maybe this can help.

    I can see your main problem is going to be the file is missing the .map extension.
